Every Time A Bell Rings, An Angel Gets Her Wings

Hello to all.


I have some heart breaking news to share with you.

A great and powerful force has hit my school like a hurricane.
Her name: Lily Anderson.

   Her beautiful smile and love of singing was what made her special to her close friends,

       And now what is remembered of her is her bravery through her long and painful journey to Heaven.



{On September of 2009, Lily was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer.}


This shook our community like an earthquake and hit us all in our hearts.

And on Saturday, she lost her fierce battle with this unforgiving demon.




{Lily died on Saturday, Decmber 15th at 11:25pm.}


Don't cry.

Lily is fine.

 She is finally in peace.
   
    Because I know she has found God.




He has been waiting for her.

  And she will live on.

{John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.}




She has inspired us all with her kindness and strength all these years and will will miss her.

Her life has given us light and shown us that no matter who we are, God has a plan for us.

   Whether it be death, love or kindness that shows your light, God has made you a path to help others.  

{Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.}





And now we all mourn for her loss, but we all are moved by her.

And her story will be remembered by all of us, friends or not, we all will.

{Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."}







I don't even know what Lily looks like or who she used to be.
 But I know her now as the one person who has brought me closer to God.
   And all I have to say to her is:

Lily is watching us now. In Heaven. Waiting to meet us all. I nope to join her when I leave. And I hope I have left something good behind for everyone to learn from as she had.
